I've always been passionate about street art - especially graffiti. Back in the days, I was always on the road with Philipp and we were looking for legal places to spray. However, it was not so easy to transfer the works of art that we could easily draw on paper, to a wall. The thing with "making a name for oneself" in the graffiti scene did not work so well. Good, old times, hey. Max joined our "group" at some point, and we were now a gang of three, a so-called “dreierrr-Gang”. Then one day we came up with the idea that it would be much easier to spread our name by making stickers and spreading them around in the streets. We thought that “tagging” with stickers is a lot more efficient. No sooner said than done. Stickers were quickly designed and ordered, and we went on tour around the cities and spread the name "dreierrr". We were three, that explains the name “dreierrr”.
After a while, we had a few fans and a vision: to reach even more people. Finally, there was the first t-shirt, then the first jute bag and then the first collection that we created. The “dreierrr” community grew quite quickly. However,
the paths of Philipp and Max took a different direction at some point and we couldn’t figure out a way to continue together.
From then on, I decided to run the "dreierrr" company by myself. I put even more time, energy and love into the whole thing. I wanted to do more by myself, like the printing of the clothes. Again, no sooner said than done. A screen printing machine was quickly ordered, and I was thrilled. Screen printing is still an original craft. I was able to let off steam creatively, to play with colours and the designs were created by me anyway. With this machine, I was super flexible from now on for my short print-runs and limited editions. I practised and practised and watched countless tutorials. However, every piece of clothing that I print is definitely unique and that's a good thing because I'm not the absolute screen printing pro - you would need training and years of practice for that. But I think this is what makes the whole thing all the more unique and authentic. It is handmade. With a lot of love and passion. I now have a small studio in the middle of Munich and work closely with a good friend who is a professional seamstress and finishes of my clothes with the labels. I acquire my "blanks" from SOL’S and from the Continental Clothing Company.
You are very welcome to convince yourself of their quality and standards.
Hi, I'm Danny, a 25-year old creative mind who lives in his city of choice: Munich. I am the one who started all this, and I am also the one who still can’t quite believe how well everything concerning “dreierrr” has developed so far. Besides being the owner of my company,
which is still a one-man-show, I am also a filmmaker and photographer.
I work for a german tv-channel, but I do freelance work in this business as well. I like to get involved in new projects and I Iove to be always on the move.
As a travel enthusiast, with a talent for videography,
I managed to find a way to incorporate all my passions and work into my lifestyle.
